I just updated my blog which runs on Wordpress to their latest version 2.5. I must say it is very nice. It’s so clean. I really like the new back end a lot. It’s easy on the eyes and the way the different elements are laid out is a lot more intuitive. For those of you who haven’t already done so should upgrade.
One bad thing that happened though as a result to the upgrade was the inability to use the K2 theme. K2 is what was handling the front end of this blog. Hopefully the people of K2 will update their theme to work with Wordpress 2.5. Fortunately by renaming the K2 theme folder to K2. allowed Wordpress to recognize that K2 wasn’t loading correctly and automatically revert the themes setting to it’s default theme.
Perhaps being unable to use K2 will force me to start working on my own custom wordpress theme. Something fun and exciting that will go along with the Facedown Photography website. Stay tuned!
